A page of photographic memory and more…

Month: April, 2011

Here I am…

Time flies~~ Yeah.. definitely! Just a blink of an eyes I’m already resided in Korea for 8 months (as of 242 days, I guess) various memories have been fulfilled my brain, Spring almost say “Goodbye”, while Summer is not far from the corner~

This time, some question must be answer: How life so far, Molyna ssi? and what’s next?

My Korean is improving kinda steadily, but I’m still wondering whether I should pay the money  for continuing Level 5 & 6. So frustrating now! +_=

It’s about my master course, yeah.. even if I’m a KGSP students, but they still need to screen our application again. I spent several hours preparing all docs and just finish them yesterday. So here last night, I’m scrolled for my favorite courses and professors. Thankfully, I have some Seniors here who can help me to choose. However, I’m still worried with this BIGGGGG STEPs of mine. 4 months more to go, I’ll become a  master student. That’s mean 4 things will saying “Hi” to me: No more fun, no more hang out, multiply my study schedule, and the most important of all is getting grade “A”.

So today, just feel like wanna make some changes to get ready for that blink of the upcoming future. What about check out some stores for some new colorful Teeeess and dye my hair brighter? Hmm.. not that bad~^^V As it’s great to crave for more update before exam wave their hands to me again! Awhh….~

Have a good day everyone!

P.S: Hi hi hi … beautiful friday ♬ ♬ ♬ ^^

Food #2: 양고기 (mutton)

If you read my previous post, you might knew that on the “Field trip” day, me and my friend had another plan. Of course, it’s the plan to hang out together and took some pic of Cherry blossoms. After that, we decided to eat Chinese food. There is a good place sell “BBQ Mutton” (lamb) near our school, Shinchon station, I can’t wait to go there again with my Chinese friend (hahha cos it’s Chinese restaurant). By the way, still wanna thank to my friend for that tasty dinner. I’m planning to treat them back Cambodian food sometimes after I can cook better than now . (10 years later? or they have to wait for their whole life as I’ll never be able to cook?lolzz )Hehehe. To tell you the truth, It taste damn delicious!!! Actually, I’m not a mutton lover, but I’m kinda like it when it come to this. So, to all mutton lovers out there, this food is highly recommended. (Price: I don’t know too, but it might be acceptable)^^

Why Women Cry

Why Women Cry…
Lately, I kinda came across this web and found this interesting stories that my friends used to tell me. So I think it will be great to share it with you, while at the same time documenting my blog^^. Enjoy reading this story!

A little boy asked his mother, “Why are you crying?”

“Because I’m a woman,” she told him.

“I don’t understand,” he said.

His Mom just hugged him and said,

“And you never will.”

Later the little boy asked his father, “Why does

mother seem to cry for no reason?”

“All women cry for no reason,” was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put prayed to God who would surely know the answer.

When God responded he asked, “God, why do women cry so easily?”

God said: “When I made the woman she had to be to be made special.

I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world,

yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that

many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up,

and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all

circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through

his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his

wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And lastly, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers and only hers

exclusively to use whenever she needs it.

She needs no reason, no explanation, its hers.”

“You see my son,” said God, “the beauty of a woman

is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she

combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because

that is the doorway to

her heart – the place where love resides.”

Korean Level 3 : Field Trip

YahoooooooOOO!!! That’s what we (level 3 students) felt after a very hard time during Mid-term exam. Each term, we have study “Field trip”, different class have different field trip, even if our school doesn’t provide such amazing one such as: go to Lotte World, go to Nami Island, …etc like other school, but we still feel better, better because the first reason “NO CLASS” of course! Second reason might be “SPRING FEVER” lolz.  Flowers are everywhere! Can’t help  not to feel for an outing or a picnic while beautiful flowers blossoming all around you.

So there my class went to a place near Insadong, for making bracelet. It kinda hard at first, but our instructor so kind-hearted that we manage to make the very beautiful one. Ya..for mine kinda colorful *Rainbow like one^^. Then, we finish by walking around the ancient house area and took picture here and there before saying Goodbye. However, for me and my friends, we had another plan***

After Easter Holiday

Last week was Easter Vacation, so we kinda have 4 days off from school. Some friends they really had a great time during this time. Here are what my classmate activities:

+Some who miss their family or loved one so badly, went to their homeland while adding extra day.

+Some who always wish to have more time to sightseeing in Seoul, also used the advantage of this opportunity with their friends.

+Some who have had appointment to go shopping with friends also did it even if they caught a cold already.

+Some went to birthday parties (I wonder how can they handle 2birthday parties for 2day with 6hours drinking??)

+Some (include me) used this opportunity to rest…rest more than normally, you know what I mean right? Yeah.. 12 hours of sleep for 4days. lolz

+Specially, my teacher who went to visit Shanghai while brought back such delicious snack for us, while showing off to our Shanghai born students. hehehe! Yummy!

+While, some who have shortage of stay in Korea, went to visit the most-wished-to-go , Jejo island. (My dream too).

For those reason explained above, you don’t need to wonder why I wrote my blog on Tuesday instead of Monday as most of my classmate weren’t  still recover of Holiday sickness. lolz. At the same time, lucky for our mouth that we can eat some delicious Chocolate from Jeju~~

Food#1: 갈매기 살 (Kalmeki sal)

서레 식당 갈매 기살 (Kalme kisal)

(My friend said, Soe rae is a brand restaurant that sell this food across Korea, very popular)

둘이 먹다가 하나 죽어도 모를 만큼 맛있어요

It’s the first time I ate this, it’s damn delicious, the Korean word would express it’s like above .(It was so delicious that if two people eating together, one died, the other wouldn’t notice) cos busy eating I think. ahhah!! I remembered I was like that at that time, eat fast, care of no one. Actually, we eat the same way like “Kalbi” but it’s different only the taste of the meat and the part that the meat come from. Ok..Don’t miss this!!

There was a funny story on that day too, here I’m gonna tell you:

last weekend, I was so stress with the exam, so I went out to have dinner with my Cambodian friends, Lavorn and Vichhai. I went to Hoegi station, a 30 mins ride from my university. Before, I leave, I had a big problem. That morning, I took a bath, my clumsiness, I confused the body wash shampoo to apply on my front hair. Then the whole day, my front bang is out of order. (look damn bad) so before go to meet I chose a lot of hair style. Then, I decide to put a bow on, but when I arrive I removed as I’m not look fine in a bow. @7:00 (as we dated @6)There, they waited for me. It’s been months, I guess, that we didn’t see each other. Then, to my big surprise,  they said

> “we can’t recognize you, have you been to the saloon? You hair style look so great” and I was like

> “O.o” and explained “blah..blah..blahh…” However, they seem to not believe me. At the end, they said

> “Next time, dont need to use shampoo cos this look great already” hahahah

Then we went to Soe rae, a restaurant that always full of people. Actually, I wanna eat fish, and refuse Kalbi as it’s expensive and the marinated meat taste is not mine. However, this one is so good. It was my No1 favorite since that time, but yesterday, my teacher show me a picture of this kind of food, called “Hanoo” and say it’s No1. I really really wanna check it out whether it can debut with my “Kalme kisal” or not… lolz
